Personality:
Gem is a pretty nice kid, unless it comes to Andrew. She's pretty clingy to him, in a big brother sort of way, though it's unsure why. She doesn't like it when others get too close to him, and will try to scare or push them away. She loves to sing and read, and she also has a passion for drawing, though they're amateur at best. You'll never see her without a drawing pad or a book. She absolutely /loves/ books, the way they can take you away to another world.

She is rarely sad, and hates to see tears, regardless of who is shedding them.

Bio.:
Gem grew up living a normal life. She was extremely close to her brother, who had the same love of reading as her. They would spend hours on end together at the park, reading books. Their parents would give her new books every birthday; that's all she wanted, as did her brother.

She had good grades in school, and as she hit middle school she was teased a lot, but didn't really care. She was a happy child, and didn't really care much for people who didn't like her.

When she was 12, she was home alone, reading a book as she did every night. She heard a knock on the door, and she went to answer it without seeing who it was. Her brother had always said she was foolish.

It was a man, and he dragged her off with him. He soon stopped in another town, where he changed her. She woke up in the woods and found the manor with the other vampires, and has been staying there ever since.

She re-reads many of the same books, and keeps them in her room in a secret compartment in her closet.
