Drake Van Lincoln

Drake retruned home a little late, but he still beat his parnets home, right? Well he thought so until he saw the front door open.

'They must have returned home early.' He thought.

Then as he was walking up the path he kicked something. A book, spine up. His eyes were wide, and at that moment he knew his little sister was missing. Why else would her book be out here? He ran into the house and didn't dare to think that she was inside, no, he knew what he'll find. He'll find an empty house.

He pasued only for a second to trun off the oven. Gem must have forgotten. Then he ran into the liveing room and called his mother. She picked up on the thrid ring, and she sounded so happy, but he didn't care.

"Gem is missing." He said. He didn't give her time to say anything. He hung up and called the cops.

Months went by, and Gem was never found. Drake threw himself into his studys, he went from a C student to an A student. He also went from sane to crazed.
